I have worked in the aged care industry for most of my working life and I can honestly say that Infinity has been the only agency where I feel really appreciated for what I do.
At Infinity I feel like I am a part of something special. I am rewarded every day at my job with the smiles on the faces of those around me. I feel very grateful to be a part of the amazing team at Infinity.
In 2019, my husband and I moved into the Laguna Village, with quite a few medical problems and needs. Both of us with back injuries, plus my husband being diagnosed with bowel cancer. The Infinity staff guided us to My Age Care and the package system, to what we are extremely grateful.
It was amazing the help we were able to receive being able to have staff take us to all our appointments, some of which were close to home, others that were in Brisbane, at S.C.U.H. and Caloundra hospitals. It was even not an issue over the years as my husband deteriorated and needed a wheelchair. The carers, both male and female, never ever showed up without a smile or cheery conversation. It was like an outing, rather than an appointment.
My husband and I needed assistance with personal care, mine still ongoing. My husband was a very proud man and was never made to feel embarrassed at anytime.
Our shopping and cleaning has always been done with excellence and no complaint from us. They have gotten to know our needs. It is fantastic. The changes to our rosters are always made with a smile. The girls in the office NEVER make you feel like a nuisance. They always seem to make things happen (how I don’t know).
I would highly recommend all the Nursing staff. These girls have so much compassion and love for their work. The care they show is indescribable . As my husband deteriorated he needed quite a lot of aids, had skin tears, plus a lot of medical needs. The Nurses were on top of it all. What ever they thought he needed to make his life more comfortable, was ordered without hesitation. Their visits made his day.
To everyone who works for Infinity. My husband and I could only speak so highly of you all. To us you are all like family.
